Wyndel Brooks, 84, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away in January 2024. He was born and raised in rural Oklahoma. He was a beloved father, grandfather, and cherished member of his family.
Mr. Brooks will be remembered for his gregarious and fun-loving nature, and his philanthropic spirit, which led him to dedicate his time, resources, and experience to various charitable organizations.
Mr. Brooks is survived by his three adult children, grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving parents and siblings, whom he held dear in his heart.
After graduating high school, Mr. Brooks briefly attended college before joining the U.S. Army. He served as a Sentry Dog Handler and was a member of the Military Police unit. He valued his time his in-country and overseas service and took great pride in the men and women who continue to serve our great nation.
Outside of work, Mr. Brooks was a fan of women’s college basketball. He also actively participated in local and national politics, tirelessly working to contribute to a safer and stronger America.
