She was born on September 14, 1940 in Kelsey, Minnesota

to George Shindler and Vlasta Ryzak.

She was married to Delbert Winkle for 63 years.

Vera was a compassionate and caring person who always approached life with a positive attitude.

She was devoted to her family and friends.

She would never passed up a teachable moment;

she would share many life stories and words of wisdom.

Vera is survived by her husband Del,

children Jim, Lauri, Ron, George, and Louis,

grandchildren Angela, Debra, Amanda, and Charles, and

great grandchildren Michael, Danielle, and Shawn.
