Michael Steven Karandos, age 73, passed away peacefully
at home on Saturday, June 12, 2021.

Michael was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1947.
He joined the U.S. Army in 1964 and served in the Vietnam War
with the 101st Airborne Green Berets, 82nd Infantry Division.
Michael was honorably discharged in 1968,
having been awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star.

He met and married his wife, Catherine, in Las Vegas in 1977.
They shared many happy years together in
California, Florida, Oregon and Nevada.

He is survived by his wife, Catherine; siblings, William “Kombat,”
Kathleen and Katrena; children, George, Eric, Paul and Stephanie;
and grandchildren, Bryan Hawkins, Kylie Itschner,
and Aiden, Kameron and Jonathan Karandos.

Michael was a colorful man with a quick wit.
He loved family, friends, golfing, NFL football and a good joke.
Michael worked in the RV industry for 30 years in sales and management,
where he was widely respected by his peers.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Michael’s name
can be made to the Vietnam Veterans of America.
