Kristin Taylor Brown

It is with heavy hearts that the Brown family announces the passing of Kristin T. Brown (33), of Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada on October 26, 2024. She was surrounded by family during her passing. 

Kristin was born to Clinton Brown and Sallie (Ayres) Bremerman on March 24, 1991. She graduated from Earl Wooster High School’s International Baccalaureate program in Reno, NV. A passionate student and adventurous soul, Kristin attended the University of Nevada in Reno before her epicurean interests took her to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island to pursue studies in the culinary arts. After settling into life in Las Vegas, she decided to pursue her passion of caring for people and enrolled in nursing school. She was an effervescent and outgoing spirit who enjoyed throwing her entire being into each new passion that she pursued. This spirit is carried on in her loving parents; sister, Allison; brother, Ryan; their spouses; and the nieces and nephew that had the pleasure of knowing her.

Kristin’s life was marked by incredible highs, as well as unfortunate lows. She endeavored to seek treatment for her mental health and dependency challenges until the very end. Her family wishes to share that if you or a loved one is suffering from addiction, mental health conditions, or challenges in life that feel overwhelming – you are not alone. Seek out services within your community to find help and lean into the support of loved ones. Like Kristin, please do not give up.
