1940 ~ 2019

Las Vegas, Nevada- Joseph S. Gawel, age 79, passed away in his Las Vegas
home on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 after a long battle from Sarcoma Cancer.
Born on August 30, 1940 to Jeannie and Stanley Gawel
in Machester New Hampshire, Gawel attended and graduated from
Alvirne High School in Hudson, New Hampshire.

Later in life, he joined and proudly served the United States Navy
where he was released with an Honorable Discharge.
He then moved to Los Angeles, California, where his love for Hollywood History began.
Then later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to retire and live throughout his years.

Joseph's favorite passed times were reading books about history,
traveling, fine dining, he also enjoyed a fine wine and a good conversation,
and he also had a love for animals.
He was a true Bon Vivant, with a love for antiques, Hollywood History,
especially the Silent Era which began in 1894 and lasted until 1929,
Which was full of artistic innovation.
He was also fascinated with the 1930's and 40's era as well.
He loved his dogs, his family and friends, he also loved Mexico.

Joseph Gawel was survived by his son Humberto,
his aunt Sophie, Godson David and his family,
Joan & Darrell Wagner & family,
his best friends, Vincent and Brandon
and many more friends all over the world.

There will not be a Memorial Service
at this time as per Joseph's request.
