Johnny Ray Fernandez “ Meek”

March 20, 1954 to Sept 30, 2021

Johnny, John or Meek like he was known to his family and friends lost his 15-day battle with COVID-19 on the evening of Thursday, September 30, 2021 @7:40pm at Sunrise Hospital Nero ICU. He was in companied by his two daughters Sarah and Laura and his wife Yolanda.

Johnny was born in Tulare, California on March 20, 1954. During that time, he attended Tulare local schools. While attending Tulare Western high school he ran track and field and won numerous meets. After he graduated from Tulare Western high school, he went to attend College of the Sequoias where he earned his AA degree in Industrial Arts.

John also enjoyed listening to a variety of music such as Gap Band, Earth Wind and Fire, Zapp and Rodger, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and many others.

John came to the Lord at a young age while he lived in Tulare, California where he attended First Apostolic Church of Tulare, then his family re located to Las Vegas,NV and his family became members of International Restorer of the Breach Ministries where John served as not only a member but a minister. There he was part of the outreach and intercessor ministries.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years Yolanda Fernandez, his two daughters Laura Herrera and Sarah Olson and son in Law Nick Olson. His son Samuel Fernandez and his sisters Estela, Helen, Carol, Diana and his brothers Mike, Raul, Gary and Rudy Jr, along with two sisters in laws Paula and Wilma, also many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Connie Reyes and Rodolfo Reyes

John’s celebration of life will be held at International Restorer of the Breach Ministries 3690 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89169 on Oct 30, 2021 from 10am to 11am.
