JESUS MARTINEZ NARIO
1941 ~ 2020
Jesus Martinez Nario, 79, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle,
and father-in-law was called to his eternal resting place on October 29, 2020.
He entered this world on December 21, 1941 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico.
Born to Roberta Nario and Ramon Martinez. He was lovingly called "Jolín" by his friends.
Jesus was raised in Mexico, but has lived primarily in California, Highland Park (Los Angels);
El Monte; and then moved to Nevada in 2015.
He started working at a young age to help his parents financially.
Jesus was a singer in a trio called, "Los Tres Paladines" with his father and a family friend.
He really enjoyed playing soccer at his local soccer league
during his youger years; and would volunteer as a referee.
Jesus was a hardworking man and provider for his family.
He worked as a cobbler, a dishwasher, a belt maker, a small business owner as a recycler,
and a line worker at a produce warehouse company.
After he retired, he enjoyed eating out at restaurants,
listening and singing to music, loved being outdoors,
and loved spending time with family.
He was a good husband; a wonderful father; a great father-in-law;
and a doting grandfather until the day he fell ill with COVID-19.
Jesus is preceded in death by his wife Esther Guzman,
his sister Bertha Guzman, his mother Roberta Nario, and his father Ramon Martinez.
Jesus is survived by his daughters Yolanda and Bertha Martinez;
Sons-in-laws Jose Segura and Juan Mendoza;
grandchildren Jesus, Harleen, Pamela, Juan and Olivia;
as well as his nieces and nephews.
The family of Jesus wishes to extend their appreciation to the
Doctors, Nurses, and Staff of Mountain View Hospital.
Nevada Preferred Home Health, Compassionate Care,
and to all that sent prayers during his stay at the hospital.
