Janie Ruth McCarter, 71, passed away on August 25, 2020 in a local hospital.
She was born July 21,1949 in Salinas, California, grew up and
graduated from high school in Waco, Texas.
A 43 year resident of Las Vegas, she retired from
Nevada Unemployment after 30 years of service.
She is predeceased in death by her parents
Edward and Frances White, son Kevin McCarter
and great-grandson Ryker McCarter.

She is survived by her fiancee Roger Delay,
son Patrick McCarter and daughter-in-law Louisa Benavidez, of Las Vegas,
two sisters Karen White of Bakersfield CA, Lori Garrison of San Antonio, TX and one
brother Kenneth White of Houston, TX, 7 grandchildren-Brittany, Chelsea,
Kevin, Matthew and Kaylee McCarter, Sophia and Shelby Behnam,
two great grandchildren, Ryleigh and Kevin Jr. all of Las Vegas.

Desert Memorial and Cremation handled the arrangements.
