Our dad was born on September 22, 1947 in Stockton California To Josephine and George Genovese.
While he attended high school in Lynden California, he learned how to play the trumpet,
which he hated so he took up the accordion instead.
My dad handed his trumpet to his brother Keith and they started playing
various venues and even made a recording on a local radio station.
Dad loved music and loved singing. Dad gave us our love for music and art.

Our dad also loved to cook. Cooking was his calling and
that's how he came to do it professionally.
I can still smell the steaks he made for dinner.
They were and will always be the best steaks ever!
Dad left us with the wonderful talent of serving fine meals.
Dad was always taking us camping. We got our love for nature through him.

Our dad is survived by 3 children.
Josephine of Washington state,
Danny of California and
Mia of Oregon.
Danny was a grandfather of 7.

His loving brother Keith resides in California and his little sister Melinda lives in Washington state.
The last 14 years, our dad was fortunate to find his soul mate Amy Schare.
Amy was at his side when our dad left to be with his mom.

Rest in Peace Dad. We love you dearly and miss you with all of our hearts and soul.
