Christine (Christy) Langlet Norberg

Christy Norberg passed away July 20th, 2024 in North Las Vegas, NV, surrounded by family who loved her dearly.

Christy was born in Orange, CA in 1965, the fourth of six children to Ted and Carol Langlet. She grew up in southern California, graduating from Mt. Carmel High School in Rancho Penasquitos in 1983. Throughout the years, she had opportunity to live on both the east and west coasts and in Africa before ultimately settling in Las Vegas in 2014 to pursue a career in commercial property management.

As her children grew up and began their adult lives, she returned to school herself, earning a BS in Marketing from the University of Maryland. Somewhere along the line, she developed an intense love of college sports. And to Christy, the proud Terrapin that she was, college sports were usually all about the University of Maryland.

Throughout her life, Christy enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to have seen so much of the world. More recently, her favorite travel adventures were trips back to Maryland where she relished visiting family and being a Grammy.

Christy is survived by her sons Michael Norberg and Zack Norberg; daughter Alexa Glocker; grandchildren Grace, Andrew, Hayden and Gavin; father, Ted Langlet; brothers Chuck Langlet, Patrick Langlet and Scott Langlet, sisters Lisa Valenzuela and Laurianne Fontanini.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Langlet.

Christy was laid to rest at the Amador Memorial Cemetery in Pioneer, CA.
