Bernard Francis O'Keefe
76, Born in Lawrence Massachusetts on August 19, 1945 peacefully passed away on September 4th, 2021, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his high school sweetheart Susan E (Aldonis) O'Keefe, they shared 56 years of marriage together.
He was the son of Mary Eunice (Hartnett) O'Keefe and Vincent O'Keefe both predeceased.
He graduated Lawrence High School in 1963. He retired from the Massachesetts Electic Company in 1991.
Bernie resided in Londonderry, NH for 12 years in his home, he nick named the Ponderosa where he
spent many an evening holding court on his 3 season porch. He and his wife, Susan moved to Las Vegas, where they spent the last 31 years.
He enjoyed listening to the oldies but goodies, golfing and softball in his younger days.
He also loved his collection of DVDs especially his classic movies and westerns as well as
playing poker and 45's. Bernie loved to celebrate life on all occasions especially St. Patrick's Day.
He was loved by many for his humor and generosity and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife Susan(nee Aldonis) O'Keefe, sons Sean (Marie) O'Keefe,
daughter Stephanie, Patrick O'Keefe children Caitlin Alanna and Raedon Zeke and
Christopher (Valerie) O'Keefe children Teri, Clint, Wendy and Michael.
Great grandchildren Aiden, Harlei, Levi, Lillei and Gavin.
He is survivied by his sister Dorothy (David) Silverwatch, sons Joel (deceased) Aaron,
Cynthia (Tracy) Sprance and daughters Katy and Lauren, Janice (John) Hughes, children
Jackie and Nathan and brother Vincent O'Keefe.
Survived by brother-in-law Edward Aldonis, Stephen (Paula) Aldonis and children Stephen and Michael; Ann Marie (Robert) Towler and children Laurie and Bryan, Matthew (Kim) Aldonis and daughters Katrina and Ashley. Also many cousins, and great nieces and nephews.
He was also predeceased by brother-in-law James Aldonis and his wife Joyce and Isabel (Liz) wife of Edward.
There will be a private memorial service, Memorial donations may be made to St Jude's Children's Hospital in lieu of flowers.
